HM King Abdullah II

His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein is the 43rd generation direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He assumed his constitutional powers as Monarch of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on February 7th, 1999, the day his father, the late King Hussein, passed away.

Born in Amman on January 30th, 1962, King Abdullah II is the eldest son of His Majesty the late King Hussein and Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein. He began his primary education at the Islamic Educational College in Amman, and later attended St. Edmund's School in Surrey, England. For his secondary education, he attended Eaglebrook School and Deerfield Academy in the United States of America.

HRH Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein

Feisal Ibn Al-Hussein was born in October 1963, as the second son to His late Majesty King Hussein Ibn Talal and HRH Princess Muna Al-Hussein (formerly Miss Tony Gardiner).

Feisal began his education in 1965 at the Islamic College in Amman, Jordan, He then joined his older brother, HRH Prince Abdullab (now HM King Abdullah II), at St Edmund's School in Surrey, England, in 1970. In 1971, Feisal began his studies in the United States, attending two years at Bement School in Deerfield, Massachusetts before joining his brother at Eaglebrook School (also in Deerfield, Massachusetts).Graduating from Eaglebrook in 1978, Feisal then completed his High-school, education at St Albans School in Washington DC, graduating in 1981. He obtained his Bachelors (BSc) degree from Brown University in Providence Rhode Island in Electronic Engineering (specializing in communications), graduating in 1985.

HRH Princess Aisha Bint Al Hussein

Her Royal Highness Princess Aisha bint Al Hussein was born in Amman on April 23, 1968. H.R.H. began her education in Amman until the age of eight, were she then moved to the United States of America beginning in Washington D.C. and graduating from Dana Hall High School of Wellesley Massachusetts in 1986. Prior to her Senior year of high school, Princess Aisha became the first female in the Middle East to receive her wings, after completing five military parachute jumps.

H.R.H. then successfully completed her officer’s training course from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst in The United Kingdom in April 1987; where she again became the first Middle Eastern Female to attend Sandhurst. H.R.H. obtained her undergraduate degree from Oxford University, Pembroke College in Modern Middle East History and Politics.

HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein

His Royal Highness Prince Ali was born in Amman on December 23rd, 1975, to His late Majesty King Hussein and Her late Majesty Queen Alia. His Royal Highness is the 43rd generation direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him).

Prince Ali began his primary education at the Islamic Educational College in Amman. He continued his studies in the United Kingdom and the United States and graduated from Salisbury School in Connecticut in 1993, where he excelled in the sport of wrestling.

HRH Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein

Born on the 29th of March 1980, His Royal Highness Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein is the 43rd generation direct descendent of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). His Majesty King Abdullah II officially named him as Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on 7th of February 1999 until 28th of November 2004.

Prince Hamzah received his elementary education in Jordan and then attended Harrow School in England. He then joined the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, passing out as a commissioned officer in the Jordan Arab Army in December 1999, with a number of prizes including the Sandhurst Overseas Sword, granted to the best overseas cadet and the HRH Prince Saud Abdullah Prize, presented to the cadet with the best aggregate mark in academic subjects.

HRH Prince Hashim Bin Al Hussein

Born in Amman on the 10th of June 1981 to Their Majesties King Hussein bin Talal and Queen Noor Al Hussein, Prince Hashim is the 43rd generation direct descendent of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), and the youngest brother of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

Prince Hashim received elementary education in Amman and then attended the schools of St Marks and Fay in the USA. He later graduated from Washington’s Maret School in 1999. Prince Hashim passed out from the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst in 2000 and was awarded the Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Prize, presented to the cadet with the best aggregate mark in academic subjects. He also received a number of high decorations from the Kingdom and abroad.
