HM King Abdullah II

His Majesty King Abdullah II ascended the Throne of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on 7 February 1999, on the day his father, His Majesty King Hussein Bin Talal, may his soul rest in peace, passed away. King Abdullah II is the 41st generation direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

The eldest son of King Hussein Bin Talal and Princess Muna Al Hussein, His Majesty was born in Amman on 30 January 1962. King Abdullah II has four brothers and six sisters. His Majesty received elementary education at the Islamic Educational College in Amman, enrolling in 1966; and then attended Saint Edmund's School in Surrey, Britain, before attending Eaglebrook School and Deerfield Academy in the United States to complete secondary education.

HRH Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, born on 11 October 1963 in Amman, Jordan, received his elementary education at the Islamic Educational College in Amman and continued his schooling in the United Kingdom.

In 1971, Prince Feisal went to the United States to complete his secondary education in Massachusetts and Washington DC.

His Royal Highness enrolled in Brown University in 1981, graduating in 1985 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electronic Engineering.

HRH Princess Aisha Bint Al Hussein

Her Royal Highness Princess Aisha bint Al Hussein was born in Amman on April 23, 1968. H.R.H. began her education in Amman until the age of eight, were she then moved to the United States of America beginning in Washington D.C. and graduating from Dana Hall High School of Wellesley Massachusetts in 1986. Prior to her Senior year of high school, Princess Aisha became the first female in the Middle East to receive her wings, after completing five military parachute jumps.

H.R.H. then successfully completed her officer’s training course from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst in The United Kingdom in April 1987; where she again became the first Middle Eastern Female to attend Sandhurst. H.R.H. obtained her undergraduate degree from Oxford University, Pembroke College in Modern Middle East History and Politics.

HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein

His Royal Highness Prince Ali was born in Amman on December 23rd, 1975, to His late Majesty King Hussein and Her late Majesty Queen Alia, may their souls rest in peace. His Royal Highness began his primary education at the Islamic Educational College in Amman and continued his studies in the United Kingdom and the United States, where he graduated from Salisbury School in Connecticut in 1993, and His Royal Highness excelled in the sport of wrestling.

His Royal Highness entered the Sandhurst Royal Military Academy in the United Kingdom. He was commissioned as an officer in December of 1994 and was awarded the Brunei Medal.

HRH Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein

His Royal Highness was born in Amman on the 29th of March 1980, His Royal Highness received his elementary education in Amman and then attended Harrow School in the United Kingdom. He then joined the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, graduating on 10 December 1999, where he received the Honour Sword (Sandhurst Overseas Sword), which is the highest honour bestowed upon an officer from outside of Britain. His Royal Highness also received the HRH Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Prize, presented to the cadet with the best aggregate mark in academic subjects amongst non-British officers. His Majesty King Abdullah II officially named him as Crown Prince during the period of 7 February 1999 until 28 November 2004.

His Royal Highness, who served in the Jordan Arab Army’s 40th Armoured Brigade and currently holds the rank of Colonel, has attended a number of military courses in Jordan, the UK, Poland, Germany and the US.

HRH Prince Hashim Bin Al Hussein

Born in Amman on the 10th of June 1981 to Their Majesties the Late King Hussein bin Talal, may His soul rest in peace, and Her Majesty Queen Noor Al Hussein.

His Royal Highness Prince Hashim is the 41st generation direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the youngest son of His Majesty the Late King Hussein bin Talal. Prince Hashim received elementary education in Amman and then his secondary education in the United States of America. He also graduated from the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst in Britain in 2000, and His Royal Highness was awarded a number of prizes, including the Prize for Best Grades for his academic studies (performance?) at the Faculty of non-British officers.
